The writer holds a PhD from the Institute of KMW, University of Leipzig, Germany. He has had a long career as a working journalist and trainer. Currently, he is Professor of Journalism at the University of Peshawar.
To develop a multidisciplinary journalism teaching institution that combines the local and global trends. Bridging the gap between the developed Western media and the developing world media (Pakistan, South Asia, Afghanistan, and Iran in focus). Initiating a global discourse on communication in the wake of the technological and political changes across the globe.

A demographic study of journalists in KPK and FATA. This is the first study to know the actual number and basic demographics of journalists in this area. This serves as the first baseline. For this reason it sticks to the basic demographics and doesn’t have any dependent variables.
